You can travel to these 6 countries—today.
For many of us, traveling internationally has been a no-go for months, and we are desperate to go on vacation. Since the outbreak of COVID-19, many countries have closed their borders and introduced strict travel restrictions.
With safety and health concerns being at the forefront of everyone’s minds, most vacations have been canceled and the travel industry has taken a huge hit. But even with so many places not accepting international travelers, you could still roll out your dusty suitcase and check out these six countries.
French Polynesia
What You Need to Know: No quarantine is required but you must provide proof of negative test taken at most three days before arrival—you will also need to take a self-test four days after arrival.
Kenya
What You Need to Know: You must provide proof of a negative test taken within four days of arrival.
Maldives
What You Need to Know: No quarantine is required but you must provide proof of a negative test. Be sure to check which islands and resorts are currently open.
Mexico
What You Need to Know: Although when you travel, you cannot drive across the Mexican border from the US, you can fly. No quarantine or testing requirements are currently in place.
Turkey
What You Need to Know: No quarantine or testing requirements are currently in place. However, be prepared to be checked for symptoms and/or asked to take a test upon arrival.
UAE (Dubai)
What You Need to Know: You will need to provide proof of a negative test and may need to take an additional test upon arrival. Be prepared to self-quarantine until your results become available. The UAE is also asking passengers to download a special COVID-19 app.
